The first time I watched Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, I hated it. So much so, as I walked out of the theater, I yelled, “What kind of fucked up movie was that?” Fast forward a few years later, watching Romy and Michele on DVD. LOVED IT! Loved everything about it. How could I have been so wrong about this genius movie? Maybe it’s because I often escape to Funny I Want Someone To Hug Me Shirt daydreams too but I found it relatable even though it’s weirdness. I love this movie so much. If it’s on, I’m watching.
