When I was in college, I had the chance to go to Europe but I passed because I had to work at a warehouse. I picked staying at a part-time warehouse job overseeing the world. When I finally went abroad in my 30s, it changed my perspective about everything and everyone. Go to another country that is far away and different than your own. There’s an old book – How to stop worrying and start living by Nice I’m Not Great With Advice Shirt Dale Carnegie. It may be corny and a bit dated but it’s guidelines are still – I think – great. The one that helps me every time I get a bit whacked out ….. live in day-tight compartments….don’t think about yesterday or tomorrow – focus on today, the here and now. That’s actually what I’m trying to do lately. I’m freaking out so much about my future while I should just live in the here and now, and just live life day by day a bit more. But thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check it out! 100% agree. Put another way: work to control the things that are in your control, and Nice I’m Not Great With Advice Shirt to accept the things you can’t.

 I disagree. It seems that all of Important Goat That’s What I Do I Read Books I Drink Coffee And I Know Things Shirt my co-workers do that, then walks around the office spilling coffee on the floor, not bothering to clean it up. Real winners! This is just like my coworkers! Except I don’t fill my coffee cup to the top… And my coworkers happen to be my 2-year-old son… And I don’t willingly let him hold the cup… And he outright dumps it on the floor instead of just a bit of spilling…I slowly went no cream or sugar until I only really enjoyed black coffee. I like my milk and sugar with a bit of coffee. I worked at a kid’s birthday party place for a couple of years in high school. So many kids would cry because they fell over, bumped their arm, etc. Never anything bad.
