When I was in college, I had the chance to go to Europe but I passed because I had to work at a warehouse. I picked staying at a part-time warehouse job overseeing the world. When I finally went abroad in my 30s, it changed my perspective about everything and everyone. Go to another country that is far away and different than your own. It may be corny and a bit dated but it’s guidelines are still – I think – great. The one that helps me every time I get a bit whacked out ….. live in day-tight compartments….don’t think about yesterday or tomorrow – focus on today, the here and now. That’s actually what I’m trying to do lately. I’m freaking out so much about my future while I should just live in the here and now, and just live life day by day a bit more. But thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check it out! 100% agree. Put another way: work to control the things that are in your control, and Nice I’m Not Great With Advice Shirt to accept the things you can’t.

Seriously. I’m sure I’m not alone I’m saying: I don’t give a damn about someone’s “good character” after an offense like this. Throw the book at him, like he deserves, gives him the maximum penalty. This isn’t some trivial offense. But someone growing pot in his yard would get a much harsher sentence than this guy, who possessed such a disgustingly high amount of those abominable images, which, by definition, involve abuse. Pretty Living Unapologetically Black Shirt

I got over most of the resentment about a decade ago. Every now and then, one relative or another will reach out and seem reasonable/normal, and I’ll get my hopes up. We might even meet up and have a good time once or twice. But inevitably, they’ll bring God into the equation. And I’m not a dick; if I’m out with religious friends or family and they want to do a quick and quiet pre-meal prayer, I don’t get snarky. They both had immense respect and love for each other. When she died he canceled his concert in honor of her and dedicated the next two upcoming concerts to her memory. He is probably the most misunderstood person of the last 100 years. The guy is super weird, yes, but weird does not mean pedophile and all evidence points to him just being a weird and sadly damaged person. It really is sad.
