How do those glasses work? Assuming red/green colorblindness, I can only imagine that the glasses block either red or green light, making one darker so that he can tell them apart. Surely this isn’t seeing the actual color? I’m not colorblind and I can confirm that color red is exactly like that, but I’ve never thought of it that way (more like the other way around, pink and brown to be “sons” of red).
